Ultrasound is a non-invasive technique by which sound waves are used to scan the interior of your animal. A computer then takes the information, interprets the information into an image, and a specially trained radiologist can interpret the image. The radiologist can look at the pictures and give our doctors an idea of what is going on internally to help form a diagnosis. When an ultrasound is needed, Elm Point calls Dr. J.W. Brumitt from VIS-Mobile.
Services include:
Abdominal, musculoskeletal, and thyroid ultrasounds
Ultrasound guided aspirates and biopsies
Radiography, CT, and MR interpretation
Radiology rounds
This is a great tool that is used by your doctors at Elm Point Animal Hospital.
